In order for me to practice the skills that are required to make a magazine cover, I created this practice cover before moving on to create my preliminary work. This allowed me to get to grips with all of the Photoshop tools, and their specific jobs. My first go at a cover was not as detailed as I could have made it, as I ran out of time, but it was still useful. Furthermore, the knowledge I had learned from this practice has given me a good idea of what works, and I can transfer this skill when making my final piece to make it look even better than my original plans.
These screen shots will allow me to track my progress further on through the coursework.
